I worked with and for Alistair Smith for three years managing the Alite Learning to Learn Network of Schools as well as delivering training and consultancy around school improvement and building independent thinkers and learners. We collaborated, along with Mark Lovatt, in the writing of “Learning to Learn in Practice: The L2 Approach” and are still working together on developing and delivering training. Recently, we have worked together on developing the secondary staff development resource “Step Up: Outstanding Learning and Teaching” – (see details on the Step Up Page) and “Primary Perspectives” –, a leadership and teacher development resource for primary schools (see details on the Primary Perspectives Page).

I also work closely with other associates such as Hywel Roberts on delivering innovative training packages and partnerships to individual primary and secondary schools as well as groups of schools.

As well as delivering training days and consultancy, I really enjoy collaborating with schools and groups of teachers over time, working with them to improve the quality of learning and teaching.
